You can download and upload the FW into your M5Stack hardware (as it is described in my post) and explore all the functionalities for 1 hr in Trial Mode.

You can use it in Trial Mode in multiple sessions but be aware, after these totals that hour, it will enter in Free Mode and some functionalities will became unavailable.

You can always ask for the license that suits your budget and your needs by checking the Version Features.

This is the plan, it might suffer some small variations on the commercial release:

Note: The Machine Serial (App) Protocol is a separate license that can be activated independently for the Full DSP or Full DSP + MP3 profiles.

The licensing is simple: your hardware will show an unique challenge code on the startup screen.

Write it down and send it with your callsign at the email address below and you will receive your activation key on reply.

Connect your favorite serial terminal to the M5Stack hardware, enter that key (Ctrl + C/Ctrl + V) on the serial terminal, press “Send”; the HW will reset and you will have the version you chose activated and ready to use.

The License will cover further updates and revisions of the FW.
